When I get to Warwick Avenue...

I was reading my friend's blog and suddenly a mix of poetry and sadness got me... It reminded me of Duffy's "Warwick avenue" and love with its highs and lows. I believe all of you have been through times when everything seemed to go wrong and you felt alone and had nowhere to go...

It takes more than a few hours for these feelings to go away...they can eat you up if you decide to surrender. My advice: Cry if you have to cry, even if you have no obvious reason to and after that bad feeling is gone just open your eyes and see that there's too much beauty to drown in negativity.

Reach out for your friends, family, pet or even that song that you love... The sun is outside waiting for you...

just gettin' it out of my chest...

'Til next time!

A piece of the VMA

No, I can't just ignore what happened yesterday!!!!

Did you see that? Britney didn't perform, a British host, Aguilera and more 5 pounds using playback dressed as...who else... Britney!!

That was fun! Take a look at this:

So...I was watching last night's VMAs and there she was-dressed in Versace and wearing Jimmy Choos-to open the show.

Then it was time for Jamie Foxx to go onstage and present "Best female video" and when he opens the envelope...The winner is Britney Spears!!! Wow! what was that? Britney is been there for 10 years and has been nominated 16 times, then she decides to take a break from the music( but not from the spotlight) and after a rocky year she comes LOOKING GORGEOUS to win her first ( second AND third moon man).

That's what I call a comeback!

British comedian Russell Brand also kicked asses (Bush's specially),The Jonas Brothers were also some of his victims.

Shows worth seeing: Paramore at (virtual) Whisky a go go, Pink performing "So what?", Kid Rock's "All summer long" and Rihanna's "Disturbia".

Am I forgetting someone??? I don't think so.

Performances to forget:

Katy Perry's "Like a virgin" Was that all??? I love Katy Perry, but I was expecting something bigger, better.

Christina Aguilera's "Keep gettin' better" ...Well...No,it doesn't!!!!

That's all folks! More VMA in 2009!!!
