Coco (before) Chanel

Hello!! I'm so excited 'cause I just read great news and I'd be thrilled to share them with you!!!

Actress Audrey Tautou (current Chanel Nº5 spokeswoman) will play french designer and fashion icon Coco Chanel in the big screen, the movie is still in pre-production, but it's release date, according to IMDb, is in 2009.

Coco avant Chanel-its working title-was writen by Anne Fontaine and adapted from the Chanel biography"L'Irreguliere" by Edmonde Charles-Roux (Former editor-in-chief of French Vogue).Fontaine said that she would only make this film if Audrey was in the lead.The film will focus on Chanel's childhood and early womanhood and portraits Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel before being famous,showing the events and people that shaped her.

About Chanel:

Gabrielle Chanel was born into poverty in Saumur, in the Loire Valley of France, in1883.She was the illegitimate daughter of a traveling salesman. After the death of her mother and abandonment by her father she spent seven years in a Catholic orphanage, where she learned to sew.Fashion wasn't her first carreer choice,as a young woman, Chanel had ambitions to be a singer and it was while warbling "Who's Seen Coco in the Trocadero" in a cabaret that she acquired the nickname Coco. Chanel died on January 10,1971 at the age of 88.

Hello everyone!!!

After a crazy week, back to work (after my amazing vacations )and also back to college: I'm home!

I'm here to talk to you about my blog list -->yep!this one on your right!

I bet you noticed that they are kinda different from each other...if you didn't, take a look at it now...Vitrolando is a brazilian blog written by a great friend of mine who's always in touch with everyone in the music business, from Britney Spears to Katy Perry. CHIC!!!

On the other hand, the brats from Clube dos Pentelhos(also brazilian) aren't afraid of speaking their minds and talking dirty whether discussing a national problem(and it's possible solutions) or telling jokes!

We also count on singer Lily Allen to talk about her life in the public eye, her album,her puppy and even her new hair color...With humor she gives us a piece of her mind!

Follow My Heels couldn't stay out of the MySpace fever...That's why I'm adding Lindsay Lohan's and Paris Hilton's blogs to my list...(cuz we just can't be away from Hollywood.
And as Madonna would say: How can it hurt you when it looks so good?)

Today I also added Kiefer Sutherland's MySpace Celebrity page.Very interesting place to know Ironworks (a recording label created by Kiefer and his friend Jude Cole) and it's bands (the most famous one is Rocco de Luca and The Burden). For those who,like me, are 24natics the actor's page is a nice place to get to know his work and a bit of his life...

I couldn't forget about I am Fashion,you know?! what would I do without this blog??? Love HG's and BG's trends and adventures in the fashion world!They rock!

PREMIERE: Mirrors

Hey everyone!!

Are you one of those people who spend,like,15 minutes in front of the mirror?? Well...not anymore!

I'm back to talk about a thriller that's gonna make you want to get out of your house without even checking if your outfit is looking fabulous.

Mirrors will be out on August 15th and it has Kiefer Sutherland(Ben Carson) and Amy Smart(Angela Carson) as part of the cast.

They Did it again!!!

It happened again,a pretty baby and his(her) smiling parents on the cover of a weekly magazine...well,except that now there are 2 fabulous newborns.

This week's issue of People magazine has 19 pages and a amazing cover with the most famous and beautiful family in the US: The Jolie-Pitts!

A few years ago Angelina would be in the news for her crazy(if not bizarre) behavior, but since the adoption of Maddox in 2002,she's been making headlines for her role as a great and responsable mother.

In 2005, Angie went to Ethiopia and adopted Zahara Marley and in 2006 Jolie gave birth to Shiloh Nouvel...(take a breath 'cause it didn't stop)...in 2007 the Jolie-Pitts welcomed Vietnamese boy Pax Thien.

And in July 2008, less than a month ago, Angelina gave birth to twins Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Léon...the sweet babies you see on the picture above.
