PREMIERE: THE DARK KNIGHT

The new Batman movie is the talk of the world right now,The Dark Knight is expected to be Oscar sensation this year, specially for late actor Heath Ledger's performance.Ledger plays The Joker, a sadistic criminal who creates a new wave of chaos in Gothan City.

The happenings is The Dark Knight take place a year after the events of Batman Begins and scenes were shot in many cities around the world such as Hong Kong,London and L.A.

The movie cast includes:

Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman

Aaron Eckhart as Harvey Dent/Two-Face

Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth

Ledger's part in the movie is full of mistery,not only because this was his last finished work(Heath died on January 22 due to an accidental overdose of prescription drugs), but also because

a former Joker,Jack Nicholson (who played the part in 1989) said he warned Ledger about Ambien(prescription sleep aid) and how physically and mentally stressful playing the character could be, adding that he almost drove off a cliff once.
